The young and the old
The difference caused by time
With separate words

Green are the gases
Coming from the greenhouses
That pollute the air

Like a sneaky snake
Ruining the artifact
With your growing nose

Never should it be a mass

From the swords,
that used to clash,
guns that are now, not maybe never, stopping to flash
with the thud of bullets,  hitting a vest,
a loved one falls, maybe we
should regret
our actions for the day be gone
and most blood is shed
now we must celebrate,
for our hard wrought
victory

Sadness is a thing
Deep within your heart
